Pu-erh Teas

About Pu-erh Teas

Pu-erh teas are among the most spectacular, nuanced and mysterious teas in the world. While the growing of the tea in Yunnan, China is easily understood; mastering the special processing and aging techniques to create memorable Pu-erh teas is very difficult. They are the only type of tea which improves with age, like a fine wine. Certain years and harvests of particular tea farms have produced Pu-erh teas that can be very expensive when they are available.

Zen Tara Tea continues to expand our range of Pu-erh teas. Check back in from time to time to look for new arrivals.
