Tour the World of Tea with a Tea 101 Tasting event of 6 different teas and advice on tea brewing, selecting and exploring the wide selection of loose leaf teas.

All tea drinkers have them. Stashed way back in the cabinet, your least favorite teas. Because we thought we liked them at one time, or they were a gift, we just won't part with them even though we don't drink them anymore. In the worst cases, they're just a bad tea, the flavoring is too strong, the tea is too weak or description on the packaging turned out to be far better than the tea itself.
Here is a capital idea - let's trade in that old tea you're never going to drink for a new Zen Tara Tea and save 15%! And there is a small social media component to the event: Volunteer to be one of our featured customer website or Facebook photo's with old tea and new tea in hand, and we'll make it a 20% savings.
Tea trade in must be a box or package of tea (a single teabag won't do, you might still be hoarding the box in the back of the cupboard). Limited to 2 trade-ins per customer for 2 new teas. Trade-up to any of our 2 oz. or 4 oz. loose teas or tea packages/tins.

Spiced Indian Chai teas are a favorite in colder weather. These traditionally bold black teas are blended with spices like cardamom, cinnamon, clove, black pepper and ginger and infused to a strong brew that is then balanced by the addition of milk and sugar.
Learn about Indian teas, the tradition of chai teas and then roll-up your sleeves and blend your own creation. After tasting a few of our Zen Tara Tea chai blends, we give you the loose teas and the spice, fruits and botanical ingredients to create your signature blend. Stick true to the traditions of black tea chai's or break-out and create a green tea, caffeine-free rooibos or herbal chai blend.
Time permitting, the group will taste each other's blend and choose a winning chai. Like what you've made for your blend? We'll keep your secret recipe on file and you can order it in bulk (minimum 8 oz.) in the future from the shop.
Includes tea tasting, blending ingredients and a special gift for the creator of the winning chai blend.
